Sunday Morning Activities
NewNaz offers children’s activities throughout Sunday morning. A child can stay for just one worship hour or be here throughout the morning and experience appropriate Sunday school lessons, games and activities. The objective of our Sunday morning activities it to have our children excited about coming to church!
Nursery – Nursery care is offered for infants and toddlers beginning at 9:00 am through the end of the 10:30 worship service.
Preschool – Preschool Sunday School is offered during both the 9:00 and 10:30 worship services. These special little ones learn about the love of God through stories and activities designed just for them!
Pre-K – Kindergarten – Pre-K and Kindergarten Sunday School is offered during both the 9:00 and 10:30 worship services. As these children are growing in their ability to read and understand their special curriculum focuses on their personal relationship with Jesus.
Children (grades 1-6) – Each worship hour has a different approach and curriculum so the children will have a great experience whichever, or both, service they attend.
During the 9:00 worship service we offer grade specific Sunday School classes, designed to teach our children about Jesus through Bible stories and related activities.
During the 10:30 worship service we offer Children’s Church which teaches our children how to participate in a worship service but also offers age appropriate Bible lessons and activities.

NewNaz offers a wonderful Wednesday night program for children of all ages called CARAVAN!
What is Caravan?
Caravan is a scouting, or kids’ club, type of program that incorporates God into every day activities. The concept of the Caravan program is that children are on the journey of life and experience new things every day. Caravan helps a child learn life skills by working as a team on badges and awards. Examples of badges include water skills, technology, cooking, safety, stewardship, poetry and even enterprise (how to deal with people in a business situation).
Children are assigned to one of five major groups –Small Stuff (Early Preschool), Buddies (Late Preschool and Kindergarten,) Searchers (first and second graders), Explorers (third and fourth graders), or Adventurers (fifth and sixth graders) – according to their grade in school. Twice a year children are awarded their badges in an evening ceremony.
The requirements to join Caravans is simple – a child’s commitment to attend on Wednesday nights, a families commitment to discuss the badges during the week, and a once a year fee of $25 to cover the costs (children can receive scholarships if needed).
