The Youth Program at Newhall Church of the Nazarene is for teens - grades 7 - 12. You don't have to know about God or believe in Him or be a Christian to join us. In fact - that is why we have a Youth group at NewNaz - so we can all learn about who Jesus is in a safe place where we can mess up and no one gets mad! Our program focuses on five aspects of Christianity - worship ( learning how to live with God in our lives), outreach (inviting others to join us), fellowship (fun...fun...crazy fun), discipleship (learning to follow Jesus in our own life), and evangelism (inviting people to learn about Jesus)!
How do we spend our time???? We talk, play music, give each other grief, care about each other, play paintball, support each other, beat on each other, eat (a lot), do nice things for other people, play video games, have overnights,
play dodge ball,
pray for each other, glow in the dark when we play miniature golf, learn about God, try almost anything as long as it is legal and no one looses a body part and...most importantly...make sure we are all ok! Sometimes we are all together, sometimes the middle school and high school meet separately and sometimes we have Man Meetings and (WO)Man Meetings!
We meet every Wednesday Night at 6:30pm and end around 8:00pm. On Sunday's we worship God at 9:00am and then have Sunday School at 10:30.
