Family Life Ministries
۰ Men’s Breakfast
Study Group
Accountability and fellowship is the purpose of this group of men who meet
for breakfast on Thursdays at 6:00 a.m. at IHOP on Lyons Avenue. If you
would like to be encouraged in your walk with Christ and enjoy fellowship
with other men, join us on Thursday mornings.
۰ PrimeTimers
The PrimeTimers are a fellowship group of senior-age adults meeting monthly
for activities and learning experiences. Outreach Ministry opportunities are
also provided. A weekly Sunday School class for seniors is also available.
۰ Small Groups
Small Groups provide an excellent opportunity to establish relationships,
share and encourage each other through Bible Study, fellowship, prayer, and
service. These groups meet in homes throughout the week and are a wonderful
way to experience how God cares for His children.
۰ Women’s Ministries
Throughout the year, Women’s Ministries plans a variety of events for the
women of our church to get together for a time of fellowship and fun. Women
are also provided opportunities for spiritual growth and discipleship.
Music Ministries
۰ Brass Ensemble
This ministry is for those who play a band instrument and would like music
instruction. If you’ve never played an instrument and would like to learn,
here’s your opportunity.
۰ Choir
If you like to sing, we need you in the choir. Rehearsals are Wednesdays
from 7:00-8:00 p.m. with performances on Sunday mornings. Seasonal
cantatas/dramas are done each year.
۰ Handbell Choir
Our four-octave English Handbell choir practices on Wednesdays from
5:45-6:30 p.m. If you can read music and have rhythm, join us! We play
during services about once a month.
Nazarene Missions International (NMI)
۰ Alabaster
Boxes
Alabaster Boxes are sealed boxes for all to use year-round for the daily
collection of coins. These boxes are then collected twice a year (February
and September) and the funds are used through Work & Witness projects to
purchase building and property sites for holiness evangelism centers around
the world.
۰ Clothing Drives
Periodically, we collect clothing, blankets, food, and hygiene products to
be sent to missionaries, local food banks, or mission projects.
۰ Faith Promise
Faith Promise is designed to be used exclusively for Nazarene Missions. Once
a year, people are asked to seek God’s will as to the amount they should
commit for Nazarene missions. The total commitment may be paid however the
individual decides; weekly, monthly, or in a one-time gift for the year.
۰ Work & Witness
Men and women with a desire to advance the Kingdom of God donate time,
money, and skills to help build much needed facilities around the world.
They also have the opportunity to share their personal testimonies with
these people.
Other Ministries
۰ Audio and Visual Technicians
Being able to hear the pastor and musicians during the service is very
important. The sound system is used each Sunday and Wednesday, as well as
funerals, weddings, and other special services. Anyone interested in being a
part of this ministry is welcomed and training is offered.
۰ Family Dinners
Dinners are provided to families in the church who have experienced a birth,
are recovering from surgery, or there is some other need in the family where
receivin al would be helpful. If you are able to cook or even order
pizza and deliver it to the family in need, then this ministry is right for
you.
۰ Food Pantry
Food is provided to individuals and families in need. The pantry is
restocked and organized once a month. Whether you are interested in
restocking or contributing to the pantry when you are able, everyone can be
a part of this ministry.
۰ Welcome Lunch
An opportunity to be introduced to the church and staff and other new
attendees. Offered approximately every other month.
۰ Wednesday Night Dinner
Dinner is provided at the church on Wednesday nights (5:30-6:30 p.m.) prior to the evening’s
events. Sign-ups can be done on your Welcome Card on Sundays or by calling
the church office. Donations are welcomed for the meal. Individuals are
needed for set-up and/or clean-up.
